After becoming a semifinalist in the Adidas "Celebrate Originality" contest with this entry, I was given a subscription for a week. So, being the opportunist I am, I decided to spruce up my journal a bit and make a couple of necessary and big announcements. I hope to expand on my journal usage for some more exposure and really utilize it.



That's Right, comissions are now open! I haven't had much luck with a job, so I figured I might as well spend my time doing something semi-worthwhile and make a little money on the side as well. Granted, I may not be as skilled as some of the more high-profile guys around here, but that also means they'll be less expensive. The cap for commissions in progress is going to be set at five but as I finish them more slots will be opened. As an extra bonus the 10th person to commission a piece gets it on the house!

well i recently took a class on comic book making so i have a 12 page mini-comic completely made and printed under my belt, and next year i'm taking an independent study which is basically the same thing but with a longer product.

i also plan on working on it on my free time/over the summer, and i want to put out a decent-sized trade paperback book by the time i'm done with college.

And what about this Travis-Small person+company? Are you planning on submitting an idea to them?

yea i probably should get on that haha i've just been pretty busy with finals/looking for a job lately.

as far as mr small goes i don't plan on submitting anything to his zine for a little while, until i have at least enough material to comfortably release it in monthly or however often installments.

But if you were to submit to Mr. Small, would you be both the artist and the writer, and artist,or just the writer? Don't worry, Im going in to any "LOL WEORK WITH ME PLZ I HAZ GREAT STORY" =B


But I still might try my luck with 'em. Just to maybe even see if what I have is even near that level yet. Can't really hurt to try I suppose, can it? (I'd be going for just the story/writing aspect).

No problem man. That picture is amazing very nice job. Right now im drawing it in pencil right now. Im gonna do two copies though im gonna do your original colors that you have because those colors are sweet as you have it then im gonna color the background black and have the same colors except im going to change the yellow to a green :| its gonna be hott ill have it done by the next 2-3 days :)
